There are millions of people who lose a parent at a young age. I lost my father to cancer at the age of 17. I know first-hand that one's life is forever changed from that point on. All of them carry the memories of their lost loved ones with them. I asked individuals who had lost a least one parent at a young age to describe their fondest memory of that parent. As they did this, I took a portrait of them and then using created a double exposure with an image representative of the memory they described.
